Kat was part of the E! Fashion Round Table at the Oscars Red Carpet tonight, unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find a single pic of her stunning outfit from tonight. It seems like she didn’t walk the Red Carpet. So, for now, we have to make do with the screencap above (thanks to @Naira_TVD!). Hopefully something will come up soon.
Our fave Mystic Falls witch got all dolled up as an E! correspondent at the 84th annual Academy Awards, and she paired her stunning leather and velvet Timo Welland gown with $1,000,000 worth of Norman Silverman jewels and a super-sleek ponytail.
Graham joined Giuliana Rancic and Kelly Osbourne for a fun fashion critique, but before they got to the dresses, she had the chance to talk about her status as a triple threat actor/singer/dancer. She wasn’t about to play favorites when it comes to careers, though. “I mean, I love doing them all,” Graham says. “I love playing Bonnie on ‘Vampire Diaries’ and then recently signing and finally getting a record deal, which is what all artists want.”
Watch Kat talk to PopSugar about the fate of Bonnie and Elena’s friendship, as well as her fashion and her first single. It also sounds like she’ll be on the Oscars’ Red Carpet. We’ll be on the lookout for that!
Also, in Convention news, Kat has been added to the line up for Creation Entertainment’s TVD Chicago convention, running from Friday, April 13th 2012 to Sun April 15th, 2012 in Chicago. More details, schedule and ticket pricing available at the Convention Site.
New interviews popping up from the Vampire Diaries set. Kat talks to TV Guide about Bonnie’s upcoming storylines, including ones with her mother, Abby and Jamie.
The Vampire Diaries’ Kat Graham says her character Bonnie isn’t always the fan favorite — and she’s more than OK with that.
“[They've] made Bonnie a character that people either worship or go against because she goes against the vampires,” Graham told TVGuide.com on the Atlanta set. “All you can really ask for is that you give people those reactions, evoke something. I don’t care what it is as long as you feel it.”
On Thursday’s episode, Bonnie is in a particularly sticky situation. She and her estranged mother Abby (Persia White) are an important piece of the puzzle for Esther to carry out her plan to eviscerate the Original siblings. Bonnie is further torn when her best friend Elena (Nina Dobrev) has reservations about killing Elijah (Daniel Gillies).
“Bonnie’s not a vengeful person, there’s always a purpose behind [her actions],” Graham says. “Whether she’s wrong or right by audience standards she firmly stands by it. If she goes against Elena, or even Elena going against Bonnie, it would be because they both have this conviction that what they’re doing is right. That’s important to remember watching the upcoming episodes.”
Her 3rd mag feature this month, love it! Thanks to annieilonzehfan.tumblr.com we have the scan of Kat’s page in Ebony Mag’s Young Hollywood 2012 Feature, which showcases some of the industry’s next big names. I’m not 100% sure if this is the only page of her, but I think it is. Click picture for full version.
