“We would go to my grandmother’s and do the prayers, light the candles, give the gifts,” says Graham of Hanukkah, which she still observes-but with a few Christmas touches. “I celebrate both. I have presents under the tree,” she says. “And the next morning we’re eating latkes.”
Kat shared a link to an upcoming event that she will be hosting with co-star Ian Somerhalder on December 10th. Details below:
We would love for you to join us on December 10th and attend “The Ripple Effect” hosted by The Vampire Diaries star Kat Graham and chaired by her co-star Ian Somerhalder.
This red carpet event, which will benefit The Water Project charity in association with ISF, will take place at the Sunset Luxe Hotel in Los Angeles from 7 to 11pm.
It is a black-tie affair with a multi-course dinner followed by a silent and live auction. Seats are limited and expected to sell out quickly.
Formal attire requested.

Kat was honoured with an award for her contribution to the gay community at Fenuxe’s 50 Awards. No official photos but she did share a few pics of herself from the event in Atlanta on Nov 6th.
The Eyecon Convention in Atlanta was this past weekend, and thanks to @KYChelsMarie and @Naira_TVD we’ve got pictures from the event as well as Kat’s Halloween costume at the ISF Empoweresque Dinner.
