As part of MTV’s “Punk’d Pre-Party,” MTV News’ Josh Horowitz, Jim Cantiello, Sway Calloway and Special “Movie Awards” Style Correspondent Kat Graham will take viewers live to the red carpet and for the first time ever backstage and behind-the-scenes with some of Hollywood’s hottest talent
Kat Graham will be reporting as Special Style Correspondent on the 2012 MTV Movie Awards Red Carpet Pre-Show AND the MTV Style Red Carpet Report this weekend! Amazing, right?! As Special Style Correspondent of the pre-show, which you can catch this Sunday at 8:00 PM ET/PT on MTV, she’ll be joining Josh Horowitz, Jim Cantiello and Sway Calloway from MTV News and talk to everyone from Chloe Moretz to Leighton Meester to Andy Samberg (yep, really!) on the red carpet. She told us, “I’m looking forward to being a part of bringing the show to the fun level it always arrives at. We’re going to be bringing fashion/fierce/pop to a show honoring amazing talent, and showing how we do it the MTV way!” And, yes, there will be even MORE Kat Graham/fashion amazingness right here on MTV Style, so be sure check back in for the full red carpet report.

As part of promotion of her EP ‘Against the Wall’, which was released today – buy it on iTunes now! – Kat appeared on the Ellen Show today to perform ‘Put My Graffiti on Me’. She rocked it! Watch below:
Her performance was dedicated to Jennifer Tyrrell, a mother of four from Bridgeport, Ohio who was ousted from the Boy Scouts of America last month because she is gay. You can support Jennifer by signing this petition. You can also see her backstage talking about it below:

Great news! Kat will be appearing on the Ellen Degeneres Show next week, May 29th on NBC at 4PM EST. She taped the appearance today and will be performing live.
Also, her new EP, titled ‘Off Against the Wall‘ will be dropping the same day!
Pop sensation Kat Graham will release her debut EP Against The Wall on May 29th through A&M/Octone Records. Recorded in Los Angeles with a slew of notable producers including Australian duo “Twice as Nice” (50 Cent, Pete Wentz), Against The Wall marks the multitalented singer/songwriter/actress/dancer’s first major label release. For the first week of its release, the EP will be available exclusively on iTunes beginning May 29th before releasing to all other digital retailers. Kat will makeher television performance debut on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday, May 29th on NBC at 4PM ET / PT and 3PM CST.
“There is no better place to be than Ellen DeGeneres and it has been a dream of mine since I was little. I’m excited to share with my fans what’s in store for this performance,” said Graham of her upcoming appearance on Ellen. “This is the real deal,” continued the pop starlet on her EP. “It’s about owning yourself, your sexuality, and who you are. It’s okay to be unapologetic. This is me vocally, musically, and fashionably. It’s not just about tagging the wall, I’m saying, ‘If you want me, come and get me’.”

More live performances for Kat!
We just made the final B96 Pepsi SummerBash artist announcement! Gym Class Heroes, Kat Graham, Havana Brown, and Austin Mahone will also be performing live at the show on Saturday, June 16th at Toyota Park in Bridgeview along with Flo Rida, The Wanted, Big Time Rush, Sean Paul, Dev, Mike Posner and Karmin.
Plus, we know you listen to Perez Hilton‘s reports with J & Julian every weekday morning, now at 8:40AM. He will be making a special appearance as well.
