Kat answers the question on whether Bonnie and Jeremy are officially a couple now to MTV’s Hollywood Crush.
“I mean she considers him such a huge piece of her right now, and her sense of calm and you know security too,” she said, adding that at the moment, there’s no third party getting in their way.
“I don’t think they’ve got eyes for anyone else right now. I will say that.”
Kat talks to MTV about her upcoming album, from the set of the “I Want iIt All” music video.
“I’ve been recording since I was 14, but the song really came to manifestation this year. I really found my sound,” a pleather-catsuit-clad Graham told MTV News on the set of the video. “One of my 2011 resolutions was to do my own music and do my own album. I’ve been working on that, and it’s been going great and it’s, like, 90 perfect done.”
“There’s a few songs that we really want. ‘I Want It All’ was such a big song for us when we recorded it. I recorded it last year, and then [producer] J. R. Rotem came in and did his thing to it, and now seeing this whole thing happen, it’s unreal for me,” she said about the song, adding that fans should expect a full Kat Graham album sometime this year.
“I want it to be summer, but I’m thinking maybe fall,” she teased. “I want to give enough time to really promote this song. Most people know me from ‘Vampire Diaries,’ so I have to really focus on that. We’re done [shooting] in April, so once that’s done, I can totally move forward.”
Entertainment Weekly’s Spoiler Room posted a little tidbit from Kat regarding the upcoming storylines, including Bonnie’s relationship with Elena, Jeremy and the whole Klaus situation.
It’s really great to see all the stories intertwining,” she says. “Right now, it’s sort of very similar to the Scooby-Doo gang: Everyone is working together to protect Elena [Nina Dobrev] and protect each other.”
That will include, she says, working with her new love Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) for the “greater good, and really getting together to be together.” “You’ll be able to see a lot of heartbreak between them both. Those characters are both character really go through it before the end of the season.”
How exactly? She wouldn’t say. But as the cast prepares to film the final four episodes of the season, we can look forward to seeing an increasingly fearless Bonnie “put a lot on the line” to protect Elena.
“I can’t say too much, but I will say that if it ever comes today to having to do something for Elena, Bonnie will go balls out for her. She doesn’t care,” she tells us. “Klaus [Joseph Morgan] coming into the show is going to create chaos. People are going to have to figure out what these characters have to do to save their lives.” That is, if it’s even possible…
Kat is going to be on MTV’s ‘When I Was 17′ tomorrow, March 5th at 11am. Check out this sneak peek till then!
In tomorrow’s new episode of “When I Was 17,” Katerina Graham, The Vampire Diaries”‘ very own Bonnie Bennett, opens up about her underage clubbing. Kat, who grew up in Hollywood, spent her teenage years in the middle of the entertainment industry. And so she found herself living a bit of a wild teenage life by sneaking into a few clubs along the way. “I got to see what people were dancing to, and I knew I wanted to make people dance,” Kat said.
I’m from the Midwest, so I don’t know: Is this the norm for Hollywood teens? While we can’t condone underage clubbing (it’s against the law, people!), her experiences inspired her to attend recording engineering school, which then launched her music career. “I had my own little recording studio. I would get yelled at by the neighbors, and have them knocking at my door at 12 o’clock in the morning [saying],”Turn it down!’”
Troix Magazine has released a nice long interview with Kat from behind-the-scenes of her amazing shoot. She talks about the show, her character and her music amongst other things.
The CW put up two new behind the scenes vids on their site: http://www.cwtv.com/thecw/att, both featuring Kat and her co-stars. You can watch them on the site, as well as older bts vids. The videos can’t embed, so thanks to Youtube user anioxe for uploading embeddable versions!
