Zap2it was on the TVD set to talk to the ever cute Kat about the show.

While Zap2it was on the set in Atlanta for a recent village, we sat down with Kat to chat about whether Bonnie and Damon could ever be friends.

“They could be more than that! I’m just saying,” she laughs in our interview, which you can check out in the video below. “Bonnie really loathed him, but it can get to that point where it’s like, ‘Oh, I hate you so much, kiss me!’”

The thread of trust between the two characters could be easily broken with one wrong move. “If Damon does something stupid, Bonnie will be back standing strong, holding her own, protecting the town as Bonnie does,” Kat says. We have it on pretty good authority that Damon won’t be playing Mr. Nice Vampire for much longer, so we wouldn’t be surprised to see another showdown between the two characters in upcoming episodes.

“I love doing scenes with Ian,” Graham says. “He’s an incredible actor and he gives me so much to work with and we’re actually good friends in life, so he’s just fun and we’ve got good chemistry.

She also talks about Bonnie’s ongoing love dilemma with Jeremy and Luka

Meanwhile, Bonnie has her hands full juggling her feelings for Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) and Luka (Bryton James). “We’ll see how everything unfolds. I love where Bonnie is right now. I love that she’s with innocent Jeremy and they have this very innocence about them, and I love that connection, and think that a lot of kids can relate to that. Being that they’re friends first, and they’re really creating a foundation of friendship first, and trust, and then moving from there.”

Kat jokes that Bonnie doesn’t have to remain innocent forever. “”I feel like all the characters are sexual characters,” she says. “I mean, hey, we’re on The CW.”

As for who she’d choose for Bonnie?

“All of them! There’s not one character that I wouldn’t love for Bonnie to explore with. I love working with all the cast, and on any level. Bonnie can just slut it up, you know?” She laughs. “I’m kidding! Bonnie’s a virgin; I’m kidding.”
